Job summary
A boutique investment bank is seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to join their team in the City of London. Responsibilities include financial modelling, drafting corporate documentation, and engaging in M&A and Private Capital Advisory work. Ideal candidates should possess a professional qualification or equivalent experience, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in PowerPoint. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of transactions across the UK, enhancing your skill set.
Qualifications
- Must have a professional qualification, ideally the ACA, or minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and has good organisational and IT skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modelling for M&A transactions including dilution/accretion analysis.
- Draft corporate finance documentation such as prospectuses and NDAs.
- Involved in producing marketing materials for private capital advisory.

Corporate Finance Analyst
My client is looking to hire an Analyst/junior Associate to work in the team, principally focused on ECM Advisory work, but also getting involved in other projects within the firm, including M&A and Private Capital Advisory.
- Financial Modelling - dilution/accretion analysis and enlarged group forecast models
- Documentation - term sheets and SPAs
- Buyer/seller search
- Transaction experience in both private and public M&A (Takeover Code) and includes the production of fairness opinions
- Sourcing financing for private deals from credit, minority and growth equity funds
- Produce marketing materials, including teasers and management presentations, and prepare forecast and downside scenario financial models
- Involved in the structuring and execution of private debt and private equity transactions, supporting the due diligence process and deal documentation
- Help to build and maintain a network of different types of private capital funders
- Work on initial and secondary equity offerings both on AIM and the Main Market
- Take ownership of drafting process for admission documents and prospectuses
- Drafting other corporate finance documentation such as engagement letters and NDAs
- Modelling - including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, discounted cash flow analysis and forecast operating models
- Professional qualification (likely the ACA) or 3 years of relevant experience
- Self-starter
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and IT literacy skills
