  • Stock Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock to meet demand while avoiding excess.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the inventory system (ERP), updating stock movements and adjustments.
  • Receiving & Dispatching: Oversee incoming shipments (verifying quantity/quality against orders) and outgoing goods (fulfilling orders).
  • Auditing & Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical counts (cycle counts, stock takes) and investigate/resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on stock levels, trends, discrepancies, and potential risks for management.
  • Organization: Ensure warehouse/stock areas are clean, organized, and items are stored logically for accessibility and space optimization.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement better procedures for inventory control, tracking, and management.
  • Coordination: Liaise with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align stock with needs and schedules.
  • Quality Control: Monitor stock for damage, expiry, or obsolescence, and manage its removal or rotation.
