Job summary
A local leisure trust is seeking a Pool Lifeguard to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for swimmers. The role involves encouraging community participation and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Candidates do not need to be NPLQ qualified, as training can be provided. We are looking for someone with the right skills and behaviours – even if you are not NPLQ qualified we may be able to fund this for you.
Starting salary of over £24k (pro rata). Salary: £24,099.67 per annum pro rata.
Location: Wilmslow Leisure Centre. Hours: 20 hours per week – temporary fixed term, 6 months (potential for extension following 6 months). Closing date: 6th January 2026.

- Support the overall operation of the leisure centre by upholding high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Applicable for candidates who are not NPLQ qualified – training can be funded.
- Standard or Enhanced DBS check is required for all candidates.
