A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking registered Pharmacy Technicians to join their team at Queen’s Hospital in Romford. The role involves clinical ward-based activities including drug assessment, inpatient and outpatient dispensing, and counselling. Applicants are expected to hold NVQ 3 in Pharmacy Services and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our team based at Queen’s Hospital in Romford. Duties include clinical ward-based activities such as assessment of patient’s own drugs and drug history taking, inpatient and outpatient dispensing, controlled drug dispensing, and discharge counselling.
We have a comprehensive in-house training package to enable you to develop as a clinical ward-based pharmacy technician. The Trust offers a variety of specialities including respiratory, endocrine, neurology & stroke, oncology, frailty and acute care to support ongoing learning and experience.
We operate from two main sites – King George Hospital (KGH) in Goodmayes and Queen’s Hospital in Romford. We have two busy emergency departments serving over 330,000 visitors last year. We are investing to transform services and improve patient care, including introducing an electronic patient record to benefit staff and patients.
