A charitable trust is seeking an HR Officer/Advisor to oversee HR services, ensure compliance with policies, and support recruitment activities. The ideal candidate has proven HR experience, knowledge of HR methodologies, and is CIPD qualified. This role is based on-site with hybrid work opportunities in a scenic environment near York. Competitive salary plus benefits are offered.
Salary: £28k to £35k FTE , dependent on experience and skills + Benefits.
Hours: Part-time, permanent (3 days/21 hours per week).
Based at Ampleforth Abbey YO62 - (based on site with opportunity to work hybrid).

The HR Officer is responsible for overseeing the HR service for Ampleforth Abbey Trust and maintaining (and joining) the warm collaborative work environment we have within the Trust.
Collaboration will be your cornerstone for delivering a HR service to the Trust. The requirement to adapt to a varied workload is key to the role as it requires the ability to transition between generalist HR support, recruitment, strategic initiatives, and much more.
