New: Medical Writer (Remote UK/Hybrid possible) for an innovative, growing healthcare consulting firm.

The role suits a medical writer who enjoys hands-on writing and working in a collaborative, close-knit team. You will have support from an established leadership team, with no pressure to involve in sales/business development. The role offers good visibility in a mid-sized company and the chance to work on global projects.

The company's work is mostly repeat business and organic growth, with HEOR publications and manuscripts being a key deliverable.

• Draft, revise, and finalize scientific materials, including abstracts for conferences, scientific posters, slide decks, tables, figures, and data visualizations.
• Articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Evaluate and interpret source documents, develop appropriate tables and figures.
• Provide copy editing, proofreading, and quality control reviews.
• Collaborate with internal researchers and client teams to ensure scientific accuracy.
• Participate remotely in client meetings as needed.
• Incorporate reviewer comments to improve documents.
• Address conflicting comments from authors and reviewers.
• Perform online literature searches and summarize findings.
• Coordinate journal and abstract submissions following guidelines.
• Contribute to internal thought leadership projects.

• MSc or higher degree in life sciences, public health, or health economics.
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, as a professional or student.
• Strong attention to detail, clarity, and scientific accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience writing for the pharmaceutical industry, public health, RWE, epidemiology, or HEOR is preferred.
