We are looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator who will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of temporary works associated with substation projects. This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional organizational skills and experience in managing temporary works within complex engineering environments.

• Temporary Works Planning: Develop and oversee the temporary works plan, ensuring all structures and systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to project specifications and safety standards.

• Coordination and Management: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate all temporary works activities, ensuring seamless integration with the overall project schedule.

• Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for all temporary works, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all temporary works activities, including designs, inspections, and modifications. Ensure all documentation is up to date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure all temporary works comply with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site and implementing best practices to minimize risks.

• Experience: Proven experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator, particularly in substation or similar infrastructure projects.

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of temporary works design, installation, and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

• Location: Based in North Yorkshire, with the ability to travel to various project sites as required.

• Day Rate: Competitive day rate of £400, reflecting your experience and expertise.

• Contract Duration: 9 months, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
