Job summary

A leading vertical transportation company is seeking Service Engineers to join their team in Cornwall. You will carry out planned maintenance, meet customer response times, and solve issues independently. Candidates should have NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering, experience with lifts, strong customer skills, and a valid UK Driving License. Qualifications

  • Must have NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in working with lifts preferred.
  • Valid UK Driving License required.

  • Provide updates to the Service Supervisor/Manager.

Service Engineer

ORONA's activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernization of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in 100 countries, we have 330,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity.

We are looking for Service Engineers to join our Service team in Cornwall and surrounding areas.

We are looking for candidates who have a comprehensive Lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent – we want to hear from you!

As a Service Engineer You Will Be Responsible For
  • Carrying out regular planned preventative maintenance and service visits
  • Meeting agreed customer response times, building relationships with our clients
  • Providing regular updates to the Service Supervisor/ Service Manager
  • Problem solving and working on your own initiative
To qualify for this vacancy we would expect you to have:
  • NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering
  • Experience of working with Lifts
  • Strong customer skills
  • A valid UK Driving License
  • Flexible Hours
