Job Title: Interim Deputy Manager – Care
Salary *: £41,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time Supernumerary – fixed term temporary contract for 3 months

A little about Nightingale:
Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with Jasmine’s values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Deputy Manager – Care:
Essential Requirements for Interim Deputy Manager – Care:
· Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
· Three years’ experience in a Senior Caring role in a residential or nursing home
· Writing Person Centred Care Plans
· To ensure knowledge is gained to demonstrate a good understanding of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of the signs of abuse and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse.
· Conducting effective person centred One to Ones
· Live within 60 minutes of the Home
· Available for work immediately
· Good knowledge of compliance requirements in a care home setting
Preferred Requirements for Interim Deputy Manager – Care:
· Two years’ experience in a similar role in a residential or nursing home
· Experience of supervising team members
· Experience as a Senior in Health or Social Care or above
