Teaching Assistant

5 days per week - 35hrs

Salary Grade: ELM3 (FTE £23,576)

38.4 weeks, term time only

Working Pattern: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Actual Salary: 35 hours (5 days) - £19,416 per annum

Heathside is currently seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our school. You must be able to communicate effectively with young people to support learning and development, be flexible, committed, and possess sound administrative and IT skills. You should be calm, confident, and demonstrate a professional approach in your dealings with young people, staff, parents, and external agencies.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and those considering a career in teaching to gain experience in and out of the classroom at a secondary school prior to or whilst training.
