Careers Advisor & Co-ordinator
Permanent position to start as soon as possible
(Part-time applications would be considered)We are seeking a passionate and proactive individual to join us as a Careers Adviser & Co-ordinator, supporting our students in achieving their career aspirations. The ideal candidate will understand the powerful impact that meaningful engagement with the world of work can have on young people’s futures. You will play a key role in driving forward Lutterworth College’s highly-regarded Careers Programme, bringing excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Lutterworth College is a vibrant, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Our staff are dedicated, enthusiastic, and committed to making a difference.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure students are well-prepared for their next steps whether that’s further education, apprenticeships, training, or employment. At the heart of student development, you will deliver impartial, tailored careers information, advice, and guidance.
Typically working between the hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday term time only, with the balance to be worked during busy periods, during the holidays, the occasional evening events or to attend mandatory training sessions.
Grade 9 (Pt 19-22): £22,121 - £23,701 pro-rata (actual annual salary)
(£31,074 - £33,294 per annum FTE)
We would like from you:• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• To be competent in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• To have excellent attention to detail.
• To have GCSE A*-C or equivalent in Maths and English.
• To be a team player with lots of energy and enthusiasm.
• To have the ability to make a significant contribution to the outcomes for our students.
• To hold a Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development (or be prepared to work towards completing this). We can offer you:
