Electrician - Responsive Repairs Milton Keynes

Salary: £41,229 + Excellent Benefits (total package £44k - £47.5k), plus van and fuel card

Hours: 39 per week: Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and Fridays from 8:00am to 3:30pm

We're looking for a skilled and customer-focused Electrician to join a responsive repairs team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As part of a dedicated maintenance team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical repairs, installations, and testing services across residential properties. Your work will help ensure homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.

1. Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance in domestic and commercial settings.
2. Perform fixed wire testing and ensure all work complies with current regulations.
3. Complete relevant certifications and documentation accurately.
4. Interpret technical drawings and specifications effectively.
5. Deliver excellent customer service while working to performance targets.

• Qualified Electrician with experience in both domestic and commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems up to 230v/415v.
• Ability to complete and certify work in line with industry standards.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices and physical capability to perform manual tasks.
• Proven ability to work in a customer-focused environment.

• City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Full UK driving licence.

• Over 2 years' experience conducting EICRs.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.

Note: A basic DBS check will be required for this role, which will be arranged and paid for by the employer.

• Competitive salary of £41,229
• On-call allowance of £525 per week (worth £3,120 for 1 in 4 or £6,240 for 1 in 8 per annum)
