London (hybrid working model)

£75,000 + bonus and benefits

A multinational and rapidly growing insurance business is searching for an in-house Tax Accountant to join their group tax team, based in London. Working in a small tax team and reporting directly to the Head of Tax, this is a newly created role due to increased growth and international activity. The successful candidate will take a varied focus across direct and indirect taxes, with a core focus on corporation tax and group reporting.

The scope of the role takes a primarily UK corporation tax compliance focus with broader elements, making an ideal opportunity for the newly qualified (or nearing completion) tax professional looking to start their in-house career. We are interested to speak with candidates who are able to demonstrate the following criteria:

• Take a varied focus across direct and indirect taxes, with a core focus on corporation tax and group reporting.
• UK corporation tax compliance for large businesses with experience of using tax software such as OneSource.
• Contribute to tax accounting/reporting under IFRS.
• Exposure to wider taxes (VAT, international taxes) or task risk management where applicable.

• Experience in UK corporation tax compliance for large businesses with experience of using tax specialist software such as OneSource.
• Experience in tax accounting/reporting under IFRS.
• Exposure to wider taxes (VAT, international taxes) or task risk management considered advantageous.
• Financial services experience is required, and any insurance experience is a bonus point.
• Newly/recently qualified ACA or CTA.
• The right to work permanently in the UK.
