Qualifications

• Proven experience in building fabric roles.
• Ability to travel to client locations for maintenance.
• Past experience in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventive and reactive maintenance services.
• Maintain and ensure client sites are fully operational.
• Perform various repair works including plastering, carpentry, and tiling.

Skills

Time served experience across multiple trades

Valid UK driver’s license

Confident using handheld IT equipment

Strong communication skills

Education

NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC in a building trade

Overview

Do you live in or around the Blackpool area? Are you an experienced Building Fabric Maintenance specialist? If so, we may have a role which is suited to you as we are recruiting in our facilities maintenance team, where you will be delivering planned preventive and reactive maintenance services to our multi‑site clients.

Responsibilities

You will assist in the delivery of excellent customer service resulting in professional results, asset uptime, first time fix and quality workmanship. You will be responsible for ensuring clients sites within your area are fully maintained and operating at full potential.

As an Arcus Fabric Specialist, you will be out and about on the road traveling to client locations throughout your area, delivering a high level of repair works and rectifying any defects to ensure our clients receive a high‑quality service.

• Patch Plastering/Rendering
• Protection where required
• Carpentry works
• Various floor coverings
• Wall Tiling
• General Repair work
• Changing lights and locks

Qualifications

Essential:

• Time served experience across a mix of multiple trades, ideally in a building fabric role
• Valid UK driver’s licence
• Experience working within a customer facing environment
• Confident using handheld IT equipment for managing works and documentation
• Strong communication skills and work ethic
• Awareness and knowledge of health & safety

Desirable:

• NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC in a building trade
• Experience working within a maintenance remit for a multi‑site retail client

Other Information

• The role will involve working 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday
• The role will also involve working 1 in 4 weeks on call
