Job summary
A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager in Pontypridd. This role involves leading a team of technicians and advisors, ensuring customer satisfaction, and running an efficient aftersales operation. The position offers a starting salary of £32,100 with uncapped performance-related bonuses and a range of benefits including private medical insurance and a company pension. Work is from Monday to Friday with weekends off.

- Report to the Aftersales Manager & General Manager and manage a team.
- Run an efficient and professional aftersales operation.
- Drive policies to improve customer satisfaction and the management's reputation.
Skills
Assistant Service Manager required in Pontypridd. Starting salary of £32,100 per annum plus bonuses, providing uncapped on-target earnings around £39,200 per annum. Hours: 8:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday. No weekends. Opportunity to work with one of the UK's most popular car brands.
- Report to the Aftersales Manager & General Manager and manage a team of 5 Vehicle Technicians and 2 Service Advisors.
- Run an efficient and professional aftersales operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through maximum utilisation of workshop facilities and the efficient sale of labour.
- Be an active member of the management team and drive policies that continuously improve customer satisfaction and the client's reputation.
- Strong recent or current experience as a Senior Service Advisor or Assistant Service Manager within a small to medium-sized franchise-approved car dealership, or as an Assistant Service Manager looking to take the next step.
- Ability to manage and support colleagues and maintain policies that improve customer satisfaction.
- IT literate and possess a UK driving license with minimal points.
- Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Pontypridd.
- Starting salary of £32,100 per annum (negotiable pending experience).
- Performance-related bonuses with uncapped on-target earnings around £39,200 per annum.
