A leading recruitment agency is seeking qualified Platers with IRATA Rope Access Level 1 or 2 certification for offshore structural fabrication work. Candidates should have relevant trade qualifications and experience in challenging environments. This role involves safe working practices and teamwork to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
- Valid IRATA Rope Access Level 1 or 2 certificate.
- Over 3 years of experience in offshore structural plating or fabrication.
- Confident working at height and in offshore environments.
Responsabilités
- Perform structural fabrication and plating activities at height using rope access techniques.
- Ensure that all work is conducted safely and in line with health and safety standards.

Formation
Search are currently recruiting for qualified Platers with Rope Access Level 1 or 2 (IRATA) certification for an upcoming project. The successful candidates will be responsible for structural fabrication and plating activities carried out at height using rope access techniques. All work must be performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with health and safety standards.
- IRATA Rope Access Level 1 or 2 - Valid and in date
- Recognised Plating/Fabrication apprenticeship or trade papers
- Offshore survival and medical certificates - BOSIET/FOET & OGUK Medical
- Strong experience in offshore structural plating/fabrication
- Confident working at height and in challenging offshore environments
- Previous offshore rope access plating experience
- Familiarity with hot work procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Competence in oxy-fuel cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication techniques
- Good teamwork and communication skills
