Job summary
A security services provider in London is seeking full-time security officers to start work ASAP. The role includes patrolling, monitoring surveillance systems, and controlling access. Candidates should have strong observational and communication skills and be capable of responding to incidents. Shifts available include day, night, and weekends, with competitive pay rates. This position provides guaranteed hours and weekly pay.
Qualifications
- Ability to notice potential threats or suspicious behaviour.
- Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
- Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
- Ability to de-escalate tense situations and find peaceful solutions.
- Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to patrol, stand for extended periods, and potentially handle physical situations.
- Maintaining a calm, courteous, and reassuring presence.
Responsibilities
- Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points.
- Observing CCTV cameras and identifying potential threats.
- Checking identification and regulating access.
- Investigating alarms and handling emergencies.
- Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Maintaining logs and writing incident reports.
Skills
We are looking for a number of full time security officers to start work in London ASAP.
Permanent work offered.
Day , night and weekend shifts available.
You can choose to work days or just nights + weekends.
Day shifts 8 am till 6 pm or 8 am till 8 pm paying £22.50 hour.
Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £25.50 hour.
Weekends and overtime paid at £28.50 hour.
We pay weekly every Friday.
45-60 hours per week guaranteed.
- Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
- Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
- Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
- Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
- Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
- Observational Skills: Ability to notice potential threats or suspicious behaviour.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, for reporting and interacting with others.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
