As a Fullstack Engineer at Kiln, you will join our Software Development Team, composed of 11 engineers split into 3 squads, to build the future of our SaaS/API-first products https://docs.kiln.fi/v1/. You will report to our Lead Software Engineer, and collaborate with the Product, Infrastructure and Smart-Contract teams to work on the various products that Kiln offers.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
• Be an active contributor within the Fullstack squad owning Kiln user-facing products (Dashboard, dApp, Explorer).
• Design, develop and implement new features :
• - 70% frontend (e.g. using our design system to build new features or adding new components to it...).
• - 30% backend (e.g. implement the transaction crafting part for a new protocol...).
• Participate in code review, test and CI/CD processes, bug fixing, and code maintenance.
• Interact with customers for debugging purposes and product discovery.
• Make sure we respect any software security norms (Kiln is a SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 company).
• Actively suggest continuous improvement of Kiln's platform and engineering practices.
• Communicate with other Kiln teams to help them understand the Software roadmap and technical challenges.

TypeScript, React, PHP, Laravel, REST API

Software (Golang); Smart contract (Solidity); Infrastructure (Kubernetes)

• +3 years of experience as a Software Engineer (Backend, Frontend, or Fullstack), designing, building, and deploying user-facing and API-based products.
• Proven TypeScript and React programming skills — professional experience in a production environment.
• Familiar with software development best practices (Test, CI/CD, DevOps, Security...).
• Previous experience collaborating in a team-based development environment is required (sprints, code reviews, standups, problem-solving sessions).
• Curiosity and ability to dig into a topic and follow through.
• Ability to balance between impact and thoroughness in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency - check our Tech Blog https://www.kiln.fi/blog and Open-Source contribution https://www.kiln.fi/open-source.
• Fluent in both French and English.

• PHP/Laravel programming skills.
• Familiar with blockchain ecosystem, Ethereum Virtual Machine and smart contracts.
