Job summary

ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
As IT System Engineer TS/SCI, you will be expected to perform at the SME or expert level supporting the Government Customer. SIGINT experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide requisite expertise and support in establishing and managing systems engineering functions.
- Develop and apply advanced software/systems methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
- Plan, conduct and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff.
- Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions for complex technical problems.
- Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity.
- Review literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Review project progress and evaluate results.
- Recommend corrections in technical applications and analysis.
- Specify materials, equipment and supplies required for technical projects.
- Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
- Provide technical consultation to technical staff or other organizations.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field of Study.
- 8+ years of experience with general systems engineering.
- Knowledge of requirements management, configuration management, lifecycle readiness management, risk management, and schedule management practices and processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and high autonomy.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
