Job Description:

There is a growing trend in new military and civil aircraft towards more electric or fully electric aircraft designs. The all-electric airplane offers advantages such as improved efficiency, reduced weight and volume, and lower environmental impact.

Traditional generation systems are being replaced by new architectures of high-power generators, capable of operating in starter/generator mode, and potentially replacing combustion engines with distributed electric propulsion systems.

Within the Electrics and Lights department, we develop Electric and Lights systems, including:

• Understanding top-level aircraft requirements and defining system requirements accordingly.
• Ensuring traceability between aircraft requirements and electrical systems.
• Designing electrical and lighting diagrams based on customer and certification requirements.
• Performing detailed power analysis according to the electrical architecture.
• Analyzing electrical regulation compliance and generating certification evidence.
• Developing system models and participating in MBSE activities to support system requirements, design, and validation.

Our department is actively involved in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), which supports system development from conceptual design through lifecycle, increasing quality, productivity, and reducing risks.

We are seeking a profile to expand our competencies in electrical and lighting systems, with the following Required Skills:

• Master's degree or diploma in Engineering or similar.
• Over 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in electrical and lighting systems.
• Experience in Systems Engineering processes.
• Knowledge of lithium batteries is a plus.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Experience with multiphysics simulation tools like Matlab Simulink is a plus.
• Familiarity with MBSE, software integration, and validation through simulation is advantageous.
• Good communication skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.
