Java Software Entwickler / Software-Engineer (m / w / d)

Your Responsibilities

1. Responsibility for analysis, design, and realization of complex software solutions.
2. Development of innovative solutions in coordination with product management, line managers, and the project team.
3. Technical support for our consultants, partners, and customers.

Your Qualifications

1. University degree in IT or similar qualification and initial professional experience.
2. Excellent knowledge and extensive experience in developing multi-layer, service-oriented Java enterprise and web applications, as well as service-oriented components and architectures.
3. Strong skills in the following areas:
4. Java and standard Java libraries and APIs.
5. Software frameworks such as JEE, Spring, EJB, JSF, GWT, Struts, Velocity, and Wicket.
6. Data structures, algorithms, and software design.
7. Modeling of databases and object-oriented information systems.
8. REST, SOAP, BPEL, XML, XSD, and XSLT / XPath.
9. Knowledge of modern, object-oriented development methods (MDA, MDSD, OOA, OOD, OOP) and tools (Eclipse, Ant, Maven).
10. Preferred experience with:
11. Relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB/2, and PostgreSQL.
12. Application servers like JBoss, IBM WebSphere, Oracle Fusion/WebLogic, and Tomcat.
13. Microsoft technologies (.NET framework, ASP.NET, C#) is advantageous.
14. Linux and scripting languages (Python, Ruby) are advantageous.
