Job Title : Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Engineer to join our team. As an MIM Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and managing identity management solutions that ensure secure and efficient access control across our enterprise environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the identity lifecycle, integrate MIM with other enterprise applications, and ensure compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities :

• MIM Solution Implementation : Design, implement, and configure Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) solutions to meet the company’s identity management needs.
• Integration : Integrate MIM with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and other directory services, as well as applications like Office 365 and other cloud services.
• Identity Lifecycle Management : Oversee identity lifecycle management, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access controls.
• Automation & Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline identity management processes using PowerShell, SQL, or other relevant technologies.
• Troubleshooting & Support : Provide troubleshooting and support for MIM-related issues, working with internal teams to identify and resolve technical problems.
• Security & Compliance : Ensure that MIM solutions comply with industry security standards, policies, and regulations. Implement best practices for secure identity management.
• Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize the performance of MIM environments, ensuring smooth operation and high availability.
• Collaboration & Documentation : Collaborate with other teams such as security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure the successful deployment and management of identity management systems. Maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
• Upgrades and Patching : Manage MIM system upgrades and apply necessary patches to ensure the system is up-to-date and secure.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Experience with MIM : Strong hands-on experience in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) solutions.
• Knowledge of Active Directory : In-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD), AD FS, LDAP, and other directory services.
• Scripting Skills : Proficiency in PowerShell, SQL, or other scripting languages to automate tasks and processes.
• Identity Management Concepts : Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), SSO (Single Sign-On), and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).
• Security Knowledge : Understanding of IT security standards, privacy policies, and compliance requirements related to identity management.
• Troubleshooting Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues in MIM configurations and related systems.
• Collaboration & Communication : Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications : Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified : Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.
