We are seeking a skilled and motivated(Senior) Controller (parental leave cover, all genders) to join our team. You will primarily focus on sales forecast, playing a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the achievement of business targets. You will collaborate closely our Head of Finance, our Business Controller and our commercial Team, providing valuable insights, recommendations to optimize financial performance, and ensure our sales forecast and invoicing is up to date.

Please note that this role is a maternity leave cover. Therefore, we are only able to offer a limited contract presumably until December 2026.

• Monitor and control company revenue generation activities, preparing and present reports on trends in sales volume, customer development and other indicators of financial health
• Work with the Executive and Management Level, set up proactive proposals based on the overview given by the numbers
• Introduce processes to increase the quality of reporting on the relevant company KPIs with a strong focus on revenue and automatization
• Keeping track of the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting for internal and external purposes, incl. various KPIs
• Coordinate and support financial reporting and forecasting for international subsidiaries
• Supporting yearly financial planning and budgeting for the Hubject Group
• Contributing to the overall business development by working on finance related projects
• Participation in AI/Tech projects (e.g., dashboard automation, predictive cost modelling)

• You have around 3 years of experience in Controlling (and Accounting)
• You have excellent analytical skills, good communication skills and can present the information in a way that non-Controllers can understand
• You are highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently
• If a process or outcome does not satisfy you, you look for improvement
• Experiences in HGB (US GAAP, China GAAP or IFRS is a plus)
• You are a pro with the entire Microsoft Office suite (obviously especially Excel) and data analysis tools (Experience with Salesforce, Certinia and/or LucaNet is required )
• Certifications in AI for Business (Coursera, Microsoft AI Fundamentals, etc.)

• Company language is English, German skills are strongly preferred
