We are currently seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Legal DACH (m / w / d) to join our team in Munich. As the leader of our Legal & Compliance team for DACH, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all legal matters and providing expert guidance to support our business operations.

Your Role at Haleon
  1. Embedded Business Partnering for the DACH BU providing strategic legal leadership and business partnering to Business Heads within the DACH region.
  2. Clear understanding of business needs and driving legal priorities accordingly as a member of the DACH Leadership Team.
  3. Providing pragmatic and proactive legal services and solutions that enable and protect the business while effectively and agilely adapting internal processes to the external environment (both commercial and regulatory).
  4. Collaborate with other areas of the business focusing on their priorities (e.g., support innovation by liaising with R&D, marketing, and global category lawyers); help others respond to and adapt to change; and set engaging and clear goals and objectives.
  5. Proactively driving change and leveraging knowledge sharing within the region and among other LCCS areas.
  6. Leading and supporting the BU through the management of senior lawyers.
What we expect from you
  1. Completed law degree (2nd state examination) with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in legal departments of large companies as an inhouse advisor, including experience in cross-regional legal matters and stakeholder management.
  2. Good knowledge of regulatory matters and a data-driven approach.
  3. Strong enterprise mindset and ability to foster true partnership through collaboration at both business and LCCS levels, with a deep understanding of the requirements for successfully implementing a winning success model for the DACH BU.
  4. Additional skills: commercial insight, influence, and relationship building.
  5. Ability to deliver outstanding results through others and improve the performance of the legal area by collaborating with other business areas, supporting innovation, and adapting to change.
  6. Ability to navigate complex legal environments and support business goals.
  7. Fluent in German and English.
