Job Description

What we are looking for :

1. You plan and execute all phases of a research project, with a focus on qualitative research with our users looking to buy or rent real estate.
2. You select and conduct the right research method for foundational, strategic, or tactical research questions.
3. You develop strategic frameworks to help foster a broad understanding of our users and keep those frameworks updated with new insights.
4. You help set up, maintain, and continuously improve our instruments to measure UX KPIs.
5. You educate and support our product design colleagues in setting up their own research actions.
6. You manage a variety of stakeholders and foster understanding for the users and their needs, and support them in clarifying often ambiguous problem spaces.
7. You moderate internal workshops to gather existing knowledge or generate new ideas (e.g., Design Sprints).
8. You connect with the product teams and build your influence to ensure that your insights are sustainable and incorporated into the product roadmap.
9. You collaborate closely with product designers and product managers, proactively identifying opportunities for impactful research.
10. You adapt processes & methods as necessary to work with multiple cross-functional teams.
11. You connect existing data such as previous studies from UX and market research, analytics data, or feedback from customer success teams with your own work.
12. You work with colleagues in our international research team to lead, plan, and execute cross-country studies.
13. You plan and conduct on-site surveys to enrich and quantify qualitative insights.
14. You continuously challenge teams to consider users’ needs.
15. You ensure effective communication and distribution of insights to the product team and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Who you are :

1. You have 5+ years of experience (agency or corporate) working as a UX researcher, ideally collaborating directly with UX/product designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
2. You are a native or proficient French speaker, capable of employing qualitative research techniques like user interviews and focus groups in French. You can thoroughly understand and analyze user feedback, ideally at least at a C1 level within the CEFR.
3. You are curious, always seeking to understand, and comfortable asking questions and challenging assumptions.
4. You are deeply empathetic, collaborative, and possess strong communication skills.
5. You are comfortable working in a complex, international environment with multiple stakeholders and supporting various research topics simultaneously.
6. You can understand technical and business requirements and translate them into research questions.
7. You have experience developing customer journeys and are familiar with the jobs-to-be-done framework.
8. You are fluent in English and comfortable conducting your daily work, planning research, and communicating results in English (at least B2 level CEFR). English classes are offered if needed.
9. Experience with marketplace platforms is a plus.
