A reputable transportation company in Mississauga is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor with a 310T license to manage a dedicated team of mechanics. The ideal candidate should have hands-on fleet maintenance experience and strong leadership skills in a unionized environment. Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (Afternoon Shift)
Pay Rate: Up to $45.00/hour

Our Maintenance Department is the backbone of our operation, ensuring every motorcoach and bus on the road meets the highest standards of safety and performance. We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with a 310T license and proven leadership experience in a unionized fleet maintenance environment to join our Mississauga team.
This role is ideal for an experienced shop leader and/ or fleet maintenance supervisor looking for long‑term stability and professional growth. You’ll lead a dedicated team of licensed mechanics, apprentices, and wash bay staff — ensuring our fleet stays road‑ready and compliant.
Lead and motivate your shift team to achieve operational targets and safety standards.
Assign, schedule, and review repair and inspection work across the fleet.
Support and coach mechanics in troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and drivetrain issues.
Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are met in accordance with MTO and company standards.
Oversee accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and safety checks.
Maintain shop organization, safety compliance, and equipment readiness.
Collaborate with Dispatch and Operations to ensure bus availability and minimize downtime.
Promote positive labor relations and uphold CBA standards in all interactions.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and communication.
Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License (required)
Minimum 3–5 years’ hands‑on fleet maintenance experience (bus or heavy vehicle preferred)
Demonstrated leadership experience in a unionized environment
Strong understanding of MTO compliance and fleet maintenance best practices
Solid computer literacy — experience with digital work orders or fleet software an asset (AS400, Samsara, Saucon)
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
Willingness to lead by example — hands‑on, safety‑first, and team‑driven
Competitive compensation up to $45.00/hour
