Google is seeking a Senior Software Development Manager, Security and Intel in Waterloo, ON, Canada. This advanced-level, full-time role is part of the Google Ads Safety organization, focused on building and operating massive-scale threat detection and enforcement services to protect the Google Ads ecosystem.
Software Engineering Managers at Google combine technical expertise with people leadership to drive major projects. In this role, you will lead engineers across multiple teams and locations, manage a large product budget, and oversee deployment of large-scale security systems internationally. You will create technical solutions that detect, assess, and mitigate advanced threats, and lead the technical strategy against the most elusive forms of ads abuse.
The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD $260,000–$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; 8 years of software development experience; 7 years building security-focused software; 5 years in technical leadership; 5 years in people management or team leadership
