Job Requisition: Software Developer – C# .NET / Visual FoxPro / SQL Server

Department: Research & Development
Reports To: Director of R&D
Location: Remote (Canada only)
Employment Type: Full-time

What your impact will be:

• Maintain and enhance existing applications developed in Visual FoxPro 9.
• Participate in the migration of legacy systems to modern .NET-based architectures.
• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and desktop/web applications in C# .NET.
• Optimize SQL Server databases and queries for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with QA, product management, and support teams to deliver reliable software.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and technical planning.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Proficient in C# .NET (Framework and/or Core).
• Strong experience with Visual FoxPro 9.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including T-SQL, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

What would make you stand out:

• Knowledge of ASP .NET
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Experience in the retail or POS software industry.
