Overview

Estate Litigation Lawyer – Protomanni & Associates, Downtown St. Catharines, Ontario – Fully Remote Position.

Protomanni & Associates, a boutique firm, seeks an experienced Estate Litigation Lawyer to join our growing practice. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible scheduling, allowing you to work from anywhere in Ontario while handling high-quality contested estate files.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and litigate contested estate matters including will challenges, claims for dependant support, trust disputes, passing of accounts, capacity/undue influence allegations, and breach of fiduciary duty cases.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, affidavits, factums, motion materials, and settlement offers.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, case conferences, motions, and trials in the Superior Court of Justice.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients, negotiate resolutions, and collaborate on complex multi-party disputes.
  • Handle file management from intake through resolution, including client communication and billing.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive commission-based structure: 50% commission split on collected billables.

Qualifications
  • Called to the Ontario Bar and in good standing.

  • Strong advocacy, drafting, research, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent client management and communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
