A leading geoscience consulting firm is seeking a geologist to provide expert consulting services, perform geoscience data analysis, and support mineral exploration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a degree in geology, and proficiency in GIS software. As a geologist at ALS Geoanalytics, you will use your knowledge and experience to provide specialist geoscience and machine learning-assisted consulting services to our mineral exploration, mining, and government clients. Leveraging expertise in mapping, sampling, core logging, and a keen interest in mineral deposit formation, the position focuses on interpretation and integration of geoscience data to support exploration targeting and process improvement at all stages of the mining life cycle. The holder of this position is responsible for performing assigned geoscience tasks independently while ensuring high quality of work, on time delivery, and effective collaboration with internal project teams. With internal mentorship, the holder will increase their knowledge and capabilities in data integration, data analysis, exploration geochemistry, mineral exploration targeting, and the practical application of machine learning in geoscience.
