Reporting to the Product Management Leader, the Product Manager will be responsible for the vision, strategy, development, delivery, and management of Interac Debit. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of developing a detailed, long-term vision that guides the evolution of the Debit product in Canada.
You'll be responsible for:

1. Developing and executing a forward-thinking approach to understand the product's mission, its place within the market, and growth opportunities.
2. Supporting the Product Owner in conducting market research and partnering with the Strategy team to leverage available research, identifying industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape at the product and/or squad level.
3. Leveraging multiple data points to help prioritize product roadmap decisions in close partnership with the Product Owner.
4. Identifying opportunities for improvements and making data-driven decisions. Defining, measuring, and optimizing around product KPIs & business objectives.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
6. Navigating ambiguity & managing stakeholders to drive commercial success of the product.
7. Developing and framing materials/presentations that support senior management in articulating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
8. Demonstrating confidence in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.
9. Setting clear, achievable goals that align with broader Interac strategic objectives.
10. Driving insights and actionable next steps from quantitative and qualitative product data and market research.

You are:

1. A rockstar strategic thinker - Demonstrate the ability to develop and execute business cases that align with broader company goals, ensuring product initiatives are grounded in strong market insights and customer needs.
2. A passionate product insights generator - Live and breathe our products, constantly analyzing performance data and market trends to uncover insights, identify growth opportunities, and inform future decisions.
3. A proven cross-functional collaborator - Act as a key facilitator, effectively engaging and aligning stakeholders across various teams—client, marketing, and legal, etc—to drive product initiatives forward.

You bring:

1. 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Product Manager with a passion to solve complex product growth challenges.
2. Strong working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum environments, combined with the ability to be fluid on day-to-day business planning activities.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
4. Strong analytical skills; effective at breaking down complex problems and driving and managing change.
5. An early adopter for technology, payments and digital savviness.
6. Proactive problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Proficiency in prioritization of work and project initiatives.
8. Capability in drafting business requirements, user stories, and managing product backlogs within JIRA.
9. Talent in Microsoft PowerPoint with experience crafting visionary narratives for executive audiences.
10. Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity.
