A community health center in Canada is seeking a Receptionist to manage patient engagement and facility scheduling. This role involves greeting patients, processing registrations, and handling payments in a busy environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year of customer service experience, and skills in communication and medical terminology. Flexibility for evening and weekend shifts is required, and the role includes essential duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Under the direct supervision of the Health Center Manager and the general supervision of the Regional Operations Manager, the Receptionist will follow the protocols of the Community Health Centers of the Central Coast, Inc. (CHCCC), by greeting patients in a professional and courteous manner, managing provider schedules to ensure access and efficiency, assisting patients through the registration process, and receiving payments for rendered services.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
