CA$100,000.00 / yr - CA$130,000.00 / yr

Job Title : Senior Mechanical Engineer

Work Type : Full Time - On site

Location : Montreal, QB

Salary Range : $100K - $130K

About the Company : We are working with a leading professional services company in photonics product and manufacturing process developments.

They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the opto-mechanical design for optical packaging projects. You'll design and test lens assemblies, laser packaging, and alignment tools, while ensuring product reliability and manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities :

• Design mechanical and opto-mechanical components
• Conduct FEA and CFD analysis (nice to have)
• Develop manufacturing processes and tools
• Oversee part production and assembly
• Test product reliability and performance
• Work closely with clients to define project goals

Qualifications :

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in SolidWorks & SolidWorks Simulation Pro
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
