This role is considered Hybrid, which means the employee will work 2-3 days onsite at a Company designated location and occasionally from home.
We are looking for a Pipeline TD Coordinator based in our Vancouver studio to assist the Pipeline Technology team in Vancouver.
This position coordinates between Pipeline TD and Technology teams.
Manages internal show ticket triage, including proper issue classification, data integrity and communication.
Maintains production issue ticketing system with priority updates, stakeholder follow-up and escalation to engineering from Pipeline TDs.
Validates production urgency for any high priority issues. Avoids derailing existing commitments.
Work with engineering’s Technical coordinator of escalation, triage and any overlap between Pipeline TDs, Technical Project Managers and engineering.
Follows up on feedback and comments from show issues.
Under the guidance of Pipeline TD Leadership, helps coordinate priorities between CG Supervision and Pipeline TDs.
Coordinates show support meetings between Pipeline TD Leadership and CG Supervisors to keep regular sync on priorities across shows. Maintains a record of weekly show priorities and commitments.
Updates and communicates to teams on technology schedule and any schedule changes that may arise.
Identifies opportunities with technology teams and technology coordinator to identify projects for PipeTDs.
With the assistance of Pipeline TD Leadership, evaluates Pipeline TD skill sets for issue/project assignments.
Schedules show check in meetings with relevant production teams.
Creates, updates and maintains PipeTD calendar including show check-in meetings, ergos, etc.
Records and communicates meeting notes.
Handles basic administrative tasks for the department, including facilitating scheduling of training for new-hires.
You have at minimum 2 years of project or production coordination experience in VFX production, gaming or software development or similar experience to prepare you for the job.
You have experience with issue tracking systems like Jira, Shotgrid.
You are familiar with documenting workflows using systems like Confluence.
You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and can get ideas across in a clear and concise manner.
You have knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, ideally including knowledge of Agile software development frameworks.
An intuitive understanding of the demands of a fast-paced, creatively-driven visual effects production environment.
A readiness to trust others, be trustworthy.
An ability to express yourself concisely, a willingness to speak up, and a conviction to keep everyone informed of progress and issues.
Coordinated one or more teams providing direct support to clients.
Experience supporting a technical team and their production stakeholders.
Experience with facilitating multisite communications and scheduling.
Great communication skills to coordinate interdepartmental, sometimes cross facility, needs and schedules.
Basic understanding of the VFX pipeline workflow.

The hiring range for this position in Vancouver, BC is C$52,800 to C$67,500 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other variable pay or benefits, may be offered dependent on the level and position offered.
