Job Description :

We are currently seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician for a 7 days on/7 days off camp-based opportunity in the Algoma district. It is a drive-in/drive-out position with full camp accommodations, including room and board. The successful candidate will:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and configure PLC, DCS, and HMI systems.
• Calibrate instruments and maintain records.
• Perform maintenance and repair of processing equipment and facility machines.
• Test plant equipment using meters and programming stations.
• Create parameters around the required PM schedule.
• Work without outside contractors as required.

The successful candidate will be subject to review of driver's abstract and criminal record check as a condition of employment.

Compensation: 130k per year plus benefits.

Required Qualifications :

• 447A certified or Red Seal equivalent.
• 309A or 442A certification or Red Seal equivalent is an asset.
• 3-5 years of automation/control experience.
• Ability to demonstrate capabilities in PLC and HMI.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Available for 7 days on/7 days off rotational schedule, camp housing/food provided while on shift.
• Living within Algoma District or in driving commute proximity.
• Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada.
