Summary

Our Stock Room Operations Leads are essential to our store success. As a Stock Lead, you are the primary owner of the stockroom, overseeing processing, product placement, and transfers. Your role is to maintain a safe and efficient stockroom so customers can find the products they want. You lead by example, uphold stockroom standards, and foster a positive environment. You collaborate with your Store Manager to train and develop stock associates, empowering your team through encouragement, recognition, and feedback.

Description

As a Stock Lead, you manage the stockroom where all materials and products are received, stored, organized, picked, counted, monitored, and distributed to meet store needs. You keep the stockroom and stock desk neat and organized, practicing safety and security measures to prevent theft. You ensure team members understand and follow all stock processes and policies. You plan for new product arrivals, verify shipments, handle discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory counts. You manage customer charge sends and store transfers between locations or distribution centers. You handle damaged merchandise or mismatched inventory according to company standards and securely maintain a store key.

Beyond stockroom duties, you assist the Store Manager in achieving sales and productivity goals, replenish and display products on the sales floor, and organize according to Visual Merchandising standards. On the sales floor, you provide excellent customer service, greet customers, direct them to products, answer questions, and share product knowledge. You maintain a positive attitude, promote the store and brand image, and understand your role as part of a team.
