We work with 18K+ suppliers who use our tools daily to manage their products and inventory, order fulfillment, etc. to be successful on our platform.

The Global Supplier Technology team is responsible for building our next-generation supplier experiences, platform and services. As part of this group, you will provide a Product Analytics function that enables supplier-facing product and engineering teams to reinvent the entire supplier experience, front- and back-end. Suppliers are critically important to our future growth. We care deeply about providing them a seamless and easy to use experience to manage their goods on Wayfair sites globally.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Product Analytics function for the teams that enable suppliers to onboard and grow on the Wayfair platform, by integrating analytics into the DNA of our product and engineering teams.
• Hire, nurture, and manage a group of analysts that supports the work of 10+ atomic teams across the supplier lifecycle.
• Own and develop the strategic analytics agenda across multiple lines of business to unlock insights and guide the business and technology roadmap.
• Prioritize resources, hiring, and team topologies across multiple areas to balance the short-term needs with the needs of longer-term initiatives.
• Build capability to apply new analytical methodologies and techniques to the supplier space, including reporting on key product KPIs, measuring new feature adoption and user behaviors, driving quantitative investigations (key driver analysis, feature modeling), and modeling the team’s impact.
• Lead on developing and expanding best practices in areas such as structuring analyses, dashboard design, and data visualizations to communicate meaningful metrics within the supplier space.
• Partner and influence senior leadership across the company to contribute to the strategic agenda of Partner Home.

What You’ll Need

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering or other quantitative disciplines
• Track record (2+ years) of managing product (preferred) or business analytics teams
• Experience in leveraging A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies for effective product launch measurement
• High comfort level with programming skills in Python and SQL, and experience working with big-data technology such as BigQuery and visualization tools including Looker; ideally familiarity with cloud-based platforms (we use GCP)
• Ability to condense technical subject matter for non-technical audiences and succinct communication and to deal with ambiguity in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
