Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Spectrol is currently seeking applicants for a Senior HR Representative. Responsible for HR generalist activities in the administration of recruitment / selection, payroll, benefits, compensation, HRIS, employee relations / activities, health / safety / workers compensation, and HR office duties. Specifically works with company management to handle personnel policy implementation and employee issues.

Pay Range : Part Time- 20-25 hours a week. 30.00-40.00 per hour.

Job Location : The ideal candidate will be working on-site in Ontario, California, USA. Ontario is known as “The Next Urban Center” and is just one hour from the Greater Los Angeles Area, known for beaches, entertainment, and diverse culture.

What you will be doing :

• Recruitment, staffing, and onboarding of candidates and new hires
• Benefit Administration: Orientation, Open Enrollment, and effective communication of benefits
• Headcount reporting for the local site and division
• Maintain time & attendance system for nonexempt employees
• Report attendance for exempt employees for payroll processing
• Maintain data integrity in the HRIS system through auditing and timely data entry
• Participate in planning, coordinating, and implementing HR projects and processes
• Administer performance management, LOA, workers' compensation, and merit increase processes
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Handle employee relation issues

What you will bring :

• BS or AA Degree in Human Resources or Business Management
• At least 3 years of related HR experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday) is beneficial
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred
• Positive attitude and team player
