Job Overview: As our HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR operations, ensuring compliance with Canadian employment laws, and driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational success. You will play a pivotal role in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding, ensuring alignment with Canadian labor standards.
- Develop and enforce HR policies in compliance with federal and provincial regulations (e.g., Canada Labour Code , Employment Standards Act , Human Rights Act ).
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Administer compensation, benefits (including group RRSPs and health plans), and performance review programs.
- Oversee payroll coordination and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with Canadian tax laws (CRA, T4s, etc.).
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a respectful workplace.
- Provide guidance on workplace health and safety (OH&S/WCB compliance).
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CPHR designation or in progress is a strong asset).
- Minimum 10 years of HR experience in Canada, with 5 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment laws (federal and provincial).
- Experience with HRIS (e.g., Ceridian Dayforce, ADP, Workday) and ATS platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on confidentiality and professionalism.
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required.
Preferred Certification:- CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources)

- CHRP/CHRL (Certified HR Professional/Leader)
