Job summary
A government organization in Metro Vancouver is seeking a supervisor for food preparation services to manage staff, ensure quality control, and maintain service standards. Applicants should have a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of relevant experience. This role requires on-site work with no remote options.
Qualifications
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
Education
Languages: English

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
