A community support organization in the Greater Sudbury area is seeking full-time Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in everyday life. Candidates will help ensure the individuals are supported in living fully within their communities. The role requires relevant educational qualifications, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple locations. Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.
Position details: 2 Full-Time Direct Support Professional Positions. Hourly rate: $24.68. Closing date: October 3, 2025. Approximate Start date: ASAP.
The successful candidate will be selected based on Article 12.03 of the UFCW Sudbury Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement.
