Job summary
A government authority in Canada is looking for a Family and Child Social Worker to ensure the safety and well-being of children while supporting families. This role includes investigating reports, conducting assessments, and developing family plans. Candidates must hold a Social Work diploma or higher, have at least two years of related experience, and maintain a valid driver's license. - Conduct risk assessments and interviews to determine interventions.
- Develop family plans and coordinate services for children's safety.
- Educate families on child protection services and maintain documentation.
- Prepare legal documents and present cases in court.
