Qualifications
- Certificate in a field relevant to the position required.
- One year recent related experience with mental health and/or substance use problems.
- Ability to support recovery for clients with moderate to severe mental health concerns.
Responsibilities
- Support Access Central virtual service with mental health and substance use support.
- Engage clients in community settings and maintain skills for independent living.
- Perform life skills and general support duties for clients.
Skills
Experience in diverse mental health issues
Knowledge of recovery principles
Ability to handle conflict situations
Use of non-violent crisis intervention techniques
Education
Grade 12
Certificate in relevant field
Food Safe certificate
Current valid B.C. Driver’s License
