Description

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop solutions to resolve OPS and BPS Secure custom module issues.

2. Design and develop features to enable efficient and smooth client application integration.

3. Provide full software development life cycle (SDLC) support for OPS Secure and BPS Secure applications by:

o Developing technical requirements in response to business requirements.

o Creating technical designs that favour commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) over custom applications.

o Supporting and informing the development of architectural artefacts.

o Developing, testing, and deploying programmatic constructs (e.g., scripts, queries, views, reports, procedures).

o Tuning service components.

o Maintaining service components (e.g., applying/testing patches).

o Triaging, analysing, and resolving incidents related to OPS Secure and BPS Secure.

o Identifying, analysing, and resolving problems related to OPS Secure and BPS Secure.

o Assessing the impacts of changes on OPS Secure and BPS Secure, including changes raised by clients and service providers (e.g., ITS, CompuCom, Telus).

o Documenting maintenance and support requirements and procedures.

4. Support clients across the OPS and BPS to integrate their applications with OPS Secure and BPS Secure for identity and access management by:

o Analysing client technical requirements, designing approaches/solutions.

o Providing full SDLC support.

o Analysing and resolving problems encountered during integration.

o Developing utilities, scripts, applets, and reports to facilitate and automate the integration experience.

5. Support the development, testing and deployment solution to the OPS Secure and BPS Secure services by:

o Providing full SDLC support.

o Identifying, researching, or promoting technological innovations.

o Demonstrating technological innovation through proofs-of-concept.

o Promoting and supporting excellence in tools.

o Developing requirements for tools (e.g., development, code migration, data migration, configuration management, reporting).

o Evaluating and recommending tools.

o Installing and configuring tools.

o Developing, testing, and deploying programmatic constructs (e.g., scripts, queries, views, reports, procedures).

6. Document maintenance and support requirements and procedures.

7. Provide development support for performance and consumption reporting to integrate data sources.

8. Develop custom templates to report information (e.g., user consumption, health and monitoring of all services).

9. Provide support for service management and ensure alignment to agreements with clusters.

10. Foster a team culture of excellence and innovation, including:

o Developing or informing the development of role descriptions for the sustainment of OPS Secure and BPS Secure, especially related to the development function.

o Developing plans for the knowledge and skills transfer to OPS employees, including activities or tests to demonstrate the successful transfer of knowledge and attainment of required skills. OPS employees include IT Source Internal Professional Services Staff (PSS) resources.

o Developing plans for the transition of sustainment functions to OPS employees.

o Transferring knowledge to OPS employees.

SkillsExperience and Skill Set Requirements

1. Leadership in Identity and Access Management (Entrust and Oracle IAM) 40%

5+ years of experience with providing development support for COTS based identity and access management systems including the following:

o At least 3 years of experience related to Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite Plus.

o At least 3 years of application developing experience in developing applications with Outh2 & OIDC technology, developing customized OIDC, TAI, developing Outh2&OIDC client and integration with IAM products.

o At least 4 years of experience related to implementations with over 10,000 registered users.

2. Developing and Sustaining Large Applications 30%

5+ years of experience with designing, developing, deploying, and sustaining large application implementations based on the following technology products:

  • Web Tier: Windows Internet Information Server (IIS), IBM HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat.
  • App Tier: IBM WebSphere, Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition.
  • DB Tier: Oracle database v11g and v12.
  • O/S: Solaris, Windows, AIX and Linux.
  • Strong experience with Angular 12 and 14, Spring Boots 4; 2+ years of experience in using and developing Angular UI libraries.
  • At least 5 years of Java Open JDK 8 and 11.
  • Experience of Azure and microservice architecture.

3. Problem Solving 20%

10+ years of experience with triaging, analyzing, diagnosing (i.e., troubleshooting), evaluating options, and resolving application problems including the following:

o At least 3 years of experience related to Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite Plus.

o At least 3 years related to troubleshooting problems related to non-production environments.

o At least 3 years related to identity and access management solutions.

4. Quality Control and Assurance 10%

o 10+ years of experience with quality control and assurance methodologies and practices as applied to the implementation of applications with over 10,000 users.

o Experience with Change Management and Release Management as processes supporting the implementation of large applications.

o Experience with automated testing and development tools (e.g., Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), HP Quality Centre (QC ALM), LoadRunner).

o Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes such as Service Level Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and Capacity Management.

Must Have:
