Your role and responsibilities
As an Architect at IBM Consulting, you will lead the design of solutions for clients. You will advocate for the client while guiding the technical team through implementation.
You will collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the problem, business requirements, system constraints, and stakeholder concerns, systematically transforming these into detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
Your main responsibilities include:
Strategic Analysis and Modernization Framework Integration: Analyzing and translating IT requirements using modernization frameworks into components of a modernized solution.
Agile Development and Cloud Application Testing: Developing and testing applications in cloud environments and participating in Delivery/Engagement teams.
Efficient Asset Reuse and Digital Modernization: Reusing and enhancing assets, methods, and materials related to digital modernization.
Collaborative Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Participating in the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to client needs.
Required technical and professional expertise
We seek experienced technical Architects capable of designing complete and complex systems, structures, or products. They should be able to define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output parameters, and hardware/software compatibility. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with system interfaces and business application prototypes.
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve deficiencies in system design.
Influence on future product modeling, contributing to architecture used across multiple products or systems.
Experience in architecting, designing, and documenting complex systems and solutions.
Ability to define and communicate the overall technical vision and architecture.
Ensuring architectural alignment with business goals.
Driving innovation and researching emerging technologies.
Supervising architectural reviews and guiding development teams.
Mentoring team members.
Solid experience and knowledge in the Telco industry.
