Your role and responsibilities

As an Architect at IBM Consulting, you will lead the design of solutions for clients. You will serve as the client advocate while guiding the technical team through implementation.

You will collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the problem, business requirements, system constraints, and stakeholder concerns, systematically transforming these into detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.

Your main responsibilities include:

1. Strategic Analysis and Modernization Framework Integration: Analyzing and translating IT requirements using modernization frameworks into components of a modernized solution.

2. Agile Development and Cloud Application Testing: Developing and testing applications in cloud environments and participating in delivery/engagement teams.

3. Efficient Asset Reuse and Digital Modernization: Reusing and enhancing assets, methods, and materials for digital modernization.

4. Collaborative Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Collaborating on designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions and services tailored to client needs.

Required technical and professional expertise

We seek technical Architects experienced in designing complete and complex structures, systems, or products. They should be capable of defining processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output parameters, and compatibility requirements for hardware and software. Candidates should have:

• Experience with system interfaces and business application prototypes.

• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve design deficiencies.

• Influence on future product modeling, contributing to architecture used across multiple products or systems.

• Experience in architecting, designing, and documenting complex systems and solutions.

• Ability to define and communicate overall technical vision and solution architecture.

• Ensuring architectural alignment with business objectives.

• Drive innovation and research new technologies.

• Supervise architectural reviews and guide development teams.

• Mentor other team members.

• Solid experience and knowledge in the Telco industry.
