Job summary
A leading travel and tourism company in Dubai is seeking a Travel Desk / Experience Advisor to manage the sales program and sell tours to guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, strong selling skills, and knowledge of UAE destinations. A pleasant demeanor and ability to work in a team are essential. Qualifications
- Experience in customer service roles within the travel and tourism industry.
- Sound knowledge of UAE destinations is an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team and a pleasant demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Sales program.
- Sell tours to guests and provide information on available tours.
- Ensure monthly sales targets are achieved.
Skills
Must be aware of all aspects of the excursions program with relation to the tours sold on board.
- The overall responsibility of the Travel Desk / Experience Advisor is the day operation of the Sales program
- Sell tours to guests, generating revenue for the company.
- Provide information to guests on tours available to promote tour sales.
- Assist guests with questions relating to excursions and offer help with any special requests.
- Ensure that the monthly sales target has been achieved.
- Sending daily sales report to the Experience Manager.
- Entering all the bookings made at the same time.
- Following up with the finance department regarding the cash payment.
- In this job you would need to have a pleasant and friendly manner, and a good general knowledge of our products and services.
- This position is under the supervision of the In Destinations Sales Manager, from whom all directives are given.
- Good product knowledge and handling the overall operation of the sales programs
- Resilient and flexible approach with the ability to respond to customer and company needs.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Driving License holder is an advantage.
- Multilinguist
- Experience in customer services roles in the Destination Management / travel and tourism industry.
- Sound knowledge of UAE destinations would be an advantage.
- Should have excellent selling and promotional skills.
