Job summary
A logistics services provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Storekeeper responsible for managing stock movements and ensuring the integration with ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of logistics processes and experience in an international environment. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of stock management and dispatch processes.
- Experience with operational logistics activities.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage stock movements and ensure correspondence with Information Systems.
- Organize shipments and dispatches to various sites.
- Ensure compliance with internal rules and local regulations.
Skills
- Manage stock movements: receptions, transfers, good issues and physical inventories both physical and Information Systems (ERP or equivalent and tracking systems). Ensure real time correspondence between physical and Information Systems.
- Implement the designed layout and ensure having a functional result.
- Organize the preparation of shipments and dispatch to different sites within the country in accordance with instructions.
- Dispatches of equipment, with management of status and escalation in the event of a problem.
- Management of orders for consumables from the client request to the dispatch of products, including organization of transport.
- Ensure that all documents concerning dispatches are generated (supported by the Logistics Coordinator).
- Compliance with the company internal rules and policies as well as with local regulations concerning security, safety, transport, or any other regulations related to the function.
- Optimization of costs.
- Extensive knowledge of stock management and dispatch processes combined with intensive use of an ERP.
- Demonstrated experience of operational activities in logistics and if possible, purchasing, order management or distribution.
- Across-the-board vision and understanding of logistics activities.
- Proven experience in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
- Ability to remain focused in an organization subject to external interventions.
- Familiar with the Microsoft Office suite.
