Responsibilities
  • Conclude long‑and short‑term freight contracts on voyage and time‑charter basis for bulk commodities.
  • Manage post‑fixture operations of vessels and ensure smooth execution of shipments.
  • Plan and monitor maritime shipment performance and oversee financial documentation and payment settlements.
  • Negotiate shipping terms and conditions with buyers, ports, and suppliers.
  • Prepare cost estimates and reports for financial planning on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain and expand stakeholder networks across the logistics chain to support commodity sales.
  • Provide guidance to laytime team on contractual terms and calculations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in the shipping industry; Panamax sector exposure is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with shipping software; experience with Veson‑IMOS is advantageous.
