As a QA/QC Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in managing quality assurance and control for structural, architectural, and interior finishing works on some of the region’s most prestigious projects. Your Role

As QA/QC Engineer, you will:

• Conduct daily site surveillance and communicate quality deficiencies to prevent recurrence
• Oversee subcontractor compliance with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and maintain accurate inspection records
• Develop and manage detailed inspection schedules aligned with the project timeline
• Lead work and material inspections using electronic QA/QC workflows, ensuring all data is complete and accurate
• Collaborate closely with Firestop Engineers to monitor Fire & Life Safety activities as per project specs and authority regulations
• Coordinate snagging and de-snagging inspections using digital snagging platforms
• Support corrective actions for non-conformances and verify the effectiveness of preventive measures
• Maintain up-to-date site diaries and QA/QC documentation on ALEC’s systems
• Champion ALEC’s QA/QC smart goals and digital transformation initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in large-scale construction environments, preferably with premium finishes
• Proven expertise in QA/QC processes, inspection standards, and handover documentation
• Hands-on experience with digital QA/QC platforms such as Aconex, BIM 360, or PM Web
• Strong knowledge of construction practices across multiple disciplines
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Proactive, collaborative attitude with a passion for quality and innovation
